Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the Mivu app, made by Aleksandr Borisov, trading as Appshift (“we”). By using Mivu you agree to them. If you download Mivu from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
Not medical advice. Mivu is a wellness app that encourages short daily movement and meditation. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Research mentioned in the app is general information, not a recommendation for you. If you have pain, an injury, a medical condition, or are pregnant, talk to a doctor before starting any exercise, and stop if something hurts.
Your account
You need an account to use Mivu. Keep your sign-in method secure and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires).
How Mivu works
- Mivu uses Apple Screen Time to lock the apps you choose at the time you set, until you complete a practice verified by your camera.
- The lock is enforced by iOS. You can change your apps or turn the lock off in Mivu when your apps aren’t locked, or remove Mivu’s Screen Time access in iOS Settings at any time.
- Camera verification is automatic and may occasionally miss or misjudge movement. We don’t guarantee that every practice will be recognised.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Mivu: don’t try to break, reverse-engineer or overload it, and don’t use it to break the law.
Together (community)
Together lets you add friends, see check-ins and streaks, react and appear on leaderboards. Others only ever see your username, practice type, minutes, streak and the day you practiced. You choose who sees your check-ins (everyone, friends only or nobody) in Settings.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don’t pick a username that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone or advertises something, and don’t harass other people. You can report or block anyone from their profile. We review reports within 24 hours and may change your username, remove you from Together or close your account if you break these rules.
Paid features
Mivu is currently free. If we introduce paid subscriptions, prices and terms will be shown in the app before you buy, payments will be handled by Apple, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
Content and intellectual property
Mivu, its design, illustrations and text belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.
Ending your use
You can stop using Mivu and delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Disclaimers and liability
Mivu is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries arising from exercise you choose to do. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
